Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1 (17 oz.) can creamed corn
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. milk, scalded
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • Accent
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Beat egg yolks until well blended.
  2. Add creamed corn, cornstarch, scalded milk, salt, pepper, Accent, and melted butter to the egg yolks. Mix thoroughly.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the corn mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  6. Place the casserole dish in a pan of water to create a water bath.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until set.
