Tips & Substitutions

To create vibrant layers, ensure each Jell-O layer is fully set before adding the next. If you want to reduce the sweetness, consider using unsweetened fruit cocktail or reducing the sugar. For a creamy texture, you could substitute yogurt for sour cream. This recipe is perfect for gatherings, such as potlucks or picnics, and pairs beautifully with Laurie'S Cream Cheese Brownies.

Serving Suggestions

This colorful salad can be sliced and served as a refreshing dessert or a fun side dish at parties. It pairs well with light summer meals or barbecues. For a complete spread, consider serving it alongside Chewy Cake Dessert or Lemon Poppy Seed Crisps for a delightful mix of flavors and textures.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It's best enjoyed chilled, so you won't need to reheat it. If you do need to serve it again, allow it to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing to make serving easier.
