Ingredients

  • 1 quart strawberry ice cream
  • 1 quart orange sherbet
  • 1 quart lime sherbet
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pint whipped cream
  • 3 quarts vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Chill a 10-inch tube pan.
  2. Using a small scoop, shape balls of strawberry ice cream, orange sherbet, and lime sherbet.
  3. Place the balls on a cookie sheet and freeze until firm.
  4. Soften the vanilla ice cream.
  5. Whip the vanilla ice cream until fluffy.
  6. Arrange a layer of the fruit-flavored balls in the prepared tube pan, adding vanilla ice cream to fill in the spaces.
  7. Repeat layering until the pan is filled.
  8. Freeze the cake overnight.
  9. Remove the cake from the pan.
  10. Frost with whipped cream flavored with vanilla.
