Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°.
  2. Grease cookie sheet.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the margarine, shortening, sugar and eggs; beat until blended.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Mix all together until creamy.
  5. Stir in Rice Krispies.
  6. Drop by round teaspoonful.
  7. Bake at 375° for 8 to 12 minutes.
  8. Makes 5 dozen.
