Ingredients

  • 2 cups green tomatoes
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 (3 oz.) package berry jello

Instructions

  1. Wash the green tomatoes and cut out blemishes.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into quarters, leaving the skins on, and liquify them in a blender or similar device.
  3. Pour the tomato liquid into a saucepan.
  4. Add the white sugar and bring to a boil, then cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the berry jello packet and mix well until fully dissolved.
  6. Pour the mixture into hot jars.
  7. Seal the jars with paraffin or rings.
  8. Store in the refrigerator or freeze the jelly for preservation.
