Red Bell Pepper Paste
Ingredients
- 2 large red bell peppers, roasted and cut into chunks ⓘ
- 3/4 cup walnuts ⓘ
- 4 -5 tablespoons breadcrumbs ⓘ
- 2 -3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin ⓘ
- 1 lemon, juice of ⓘ
- black pepper (to taste) ⓘ
- 2/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled (optional) ⓘ
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed (optional) ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon tomato puree (optional) ⓘ
Instructions
- Put all ingredients except olive oil and walnuts in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Slowly add olive oil and walnuts, continue blending.
- Make sure not to over-mix, the walnuts should still be left in small pieces.
