Instructions
- Combine all ingredients, except vinegar and butter in a large pan.
- Cover and simmer over low heat about 1/2 hour or until the cabbage is tender.
- Remove from heat.
- Add the vinegar and butter and toss lightly.
- Serve hot.
- Serve with the beef rouloden or the sauerbraten for a super meal.
- Don't forget the potato dumplings.
