Reuben Stuffed Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 round rye or pumpernickel bread
  • 1 lb. corned beef
  • 3/4 lb. Swiss cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle Thousand Island salad dressing
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 small can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed

Instructions

  1. Chop corned beef into small pieces.
  2. Shred Swiss cheese.
  3. Mix all ingredients (except bread) well.
  4. Cut off top of bread and pull out center.
  5. Keep bread to dip.
  6. Fill bread with mixture and replace top.
  7. Triple wrap bread with foil and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until cheese is melted and mixture is hot. Serve with crackers, party rye or breadsticks.
