Ingredients

  • 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
  • 3 3/4 c. Rice Chex
  • 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 3/4 c. margarine

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Pour the melted margarine over the Rice Chex, light brown sugar, and chopped pecans, and mix well.
  3. Spread half of this mixture evenly in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Top with softened vanilla ice cream.
  5. Add the remaining mixture on top of the ice cream.
  6. Freeze the assembled dessert until firm before serving.
