Ingredients

  • 6 cups rice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 lemon peel, grated

Instructions

  1. Cook rice; let cool.
  2. Add eggs to rice; mix well.
  3. Add sugar, cinnamon, and grated lemon peel; mix well.
  4. Drop by tablespoon into very hot oil; fry until golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
