Instructions
- Combine sugar, salt and gelatin in heavy saucepan.
- Stir in milk and eggs; mix thoroughly.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture coats spoon.
- Cool.
- Fold in rice and vanilla.
- Cool until mixture begins to thicken; fold in whipped cream.
- Spoon into lightly oiled 1-quart mold.
- Chill until firm. Unmold.
- Serve with sliced sweetened strawberries.
