Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk or plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons minced peeled onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Cover and refrigerate; sauce will keep for several days.
  3. Makes about 2/3 cup.
  4. For a maintenance diet, allow 3 tablespoons.
