Richard'S Pound Cake
Ingredients
Instructions
- Cream Crisco, butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each.
- Alternately add flour and milk, mixing well after each.
- Add flavoring and mix again.
- Pour mixture into well-greased and floured tube or long loaf pan.
- Bake at 325° for approximately 2 hours or until done.
- (Recipe calls for 1 1/2 hours, but I find that it takes 2 hours.)
- This is a good cake and big too!
- Start in cold oven.
- Do not preheat.
