Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon melted butter
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Blend room temperature cream cheese, butter, and sifted flour; chill for 1 hour.
  2. Divide the dough into 24 equal parts and shape each into a small ball.
  3. Press each ball into the bottom and 1/2-inch up the sides of small buttered 2-inch muffin cups; chill.
  4. Blend the remaining ingredients and place one teaspoon of mixture into each pastry shell.
  5. Bake at 325°F for 25 minutes.
