Ingredients

  • 6 cups diced rhubarb
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) package strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 dry white cake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 3/4 cup melted margarine

Instructions

  1. Put rhubarb, sugar, dry Jell-O, and dry cake mix in a 9 x 13-inch pan in the order listed.
  2. Do not mix; pour hot water over the first four ingredients.
  3. Then pour melted margarine over all.
  4. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
  5. Cool before cutting and store in refrigerator.
