Instructions
- Pour rice into large pot of boiling salted water.
- Do not stir.
- Cover and cook exactly 7 minutes.
- Add milk and butter. Stir a little.
- Bring just to boil, lower heat, cover and cook slowly for 1 hour on low heat.
- Beat together eggs, sugar, vanilla and raisins.
- Pour into rice mixture, stirring slowly, until rice starts to thicken.
- Serve hot or cold with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon sprinkled on top.
- Topping gives it a browned look.
