- Remove rind from ham. Score fat with a knife.
- Rub the spice mixture over the ham. Wrap ham in foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Heat oven to 425°F.
- Unwrap the ham.
- Place in a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
- Roast, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 325°F.
- Baste the ham with drippings every 30 minutes.
- Continue roasting for about 4 hours or until a meat thermometer registers 160°F internal temperature.
