Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. molasses

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add egg and dry ingredients alternately with milk and molasses.
  3. Pour in greased pan.
  4. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
