Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 2 cans beef consomme
  • 1 cup fine egg noodles, crushed
  • 1 cup regular rice

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add crushed egg noodles and brown them.
  3. Add beef consomme and bring to a boil.
  4. Add rice and bring to a boil again.
  5. Put a lid on the pan and simmer on low for 45 minutes without lifting the lid.
