Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 to 2 cups confectioners sugar, sifted

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan, add brown sugar and cook, stirring constantly, over low heat for 2 minutes.
  2. Add milk and bring to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat and cool.
  4. Gradually add confectioners sugar until spreading consistency is reached.
