Sage Tea

A soothing herbal tea blending green tea, fresh sage, mint, and a touch of sweetness, perfect for relaxing moments and served with a slice of lemon for added zest.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. green tea leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. minced fresh sage
  • 2 tsp. minced fresh mint
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 c. boiling water
  • lemon sliced

Instructions

  1. In an earthenware teapot, place green tea leaves, minced fresh sage, minced fresh mint, and sugar.
  2. Stir until the sugar is well blended with the herbs and tea leaves.
  3. Pour in boiling water and stir again to combine.
  4. Cover and steep for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Serve in tea glasses with lemon slices on the side.
