Salty Peanut Chews

- Mix together first three ingredients and bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle marshmallows over cake.
- Put back into oven until they are puffy.
- Combine peanut butter chips, Karo syrup and vanilla in a large saucepan and heat until chips are melted.
- Add peanuts and rice cereal and stir to coat.
- Drop topping by spoonfuls onto puffy marshmallows.
- Cool completely and cut into 2-inch squares.
