Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. cake flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add water, sugar, vanilla, cake flour, and chopped pecans in the given order.
  3. Roll the mixture into 48 to 50 balls and place them onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F.
  5. Roll the baked cookies in white or colored confectioners sugar.
