Ingredients

  • 6 oz. biscuit mix
  • 1 lb. bulk hot sausage

Instructions

  1. Mix biscuit mix according to package directions.
  2. Roll the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  3. Crumble the uncooked sausage over the rectangle to cover it evenly.
  4. Roll up the rectangle jelly roll style, starting from one edge.
  5. Wrap the rolled dough in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Slice the chilled roll into 1/4-inch wheels.
  7. Bake the sausage wheels on a cookie sheet with sides to prevent grease from dripping.
  8. Bake at 350°F until golden brown and cooked through.
