Ingredients

  • 1 lb. (2 cups) butter
  • 1 lb. cottage cheese
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°.
  2. Put cottage cheese through sieve.
  3. Cream butter & cottage cheese.
  4. Stir salt into flour and mix into butter.
  5. Form into walnut-size balls.
  6. Roll each ball out on floured board.
  7. Put 1 tsp. jelly or jam in middle of each pastry. Brush edges of pastry with water, fold in half and seal edges. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
