- Sift dry ingredients.
- Work in shortening until crumb-like. Save 1 tablespoon egg white.
- Beat remaining eggs and add milk to make soft dough.
- Roll 1/2-inch thick; cut into 3-inch squares. Cut square into 2 triangles.
- Place on cookie sheet; brush with beaten egg white.
- Sprinkle with sugar.
