  1. Wash, peel, and dice potatoes into a pot.
  2. Cover potatoes with water.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and drain off water.
  5. Add milk, butter, and salt to the potatoes.
  6. Blend until all lumps are gone and the mixture is smooth.
  7. Add food coloring to your pleasure and mix well.
