Ingredients

  • 1 cabbage, shredded
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Put shredded cabbage in a 4-quart dish.
  2. Pour evaporated milk over the cabbage.
  3. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
  4. Dot with butter.
  5. Cover and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes, until bread crumbs are lightly browned and cabbage is tender.
