Instructions
- Mix flour, margarine and sugar to fine crumbs.
- Reserve 1 1/2 cups of crumbs for top.
- Mix water, molasses and baking soda.
- Add to remaining crumbs and beat until very thin batter.
- Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan or fill cupcake tins 1/2 full.
- Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
- Bake at 350°.
- Cake 45 to 50 minutes.
- Cupcakes 25 to 30 minutes.
