Shrimp Peri-Peri

Spicy, flavorful shrimp marinated in peri-peri sauce, then broiled with garlic and butter for a smoky, fiery dish perfect for seafood lovers and entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. Peri-Peri or cayenne pepper
  • boiled shrimp
  • 6 Tbsp. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Chop garlic and mix with salt. Combine with olive oil and lemon juice. Pour over shrimp and mix well. Add peri-peri or cayenne pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Arrange marinated shrimp in a shallow baking dish and pour melted butter over all.
  3. Broil the shrimp for 5 to 8 minutes, turning once, until cooked and slightly charred.
