Shrimp Spirals

Ingredients

  • 1 can shrimp, drained and finely chopped (could use fresh shrimp)
  • 1 (4 oz.) container whipped cream cheese with chives
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped pimiento
  • 2 green onion sprigs, chopped
  • 1/2 doz. pastry puff

Instructions

  1. Combine shrimp, cream cheese, pimiento and green onion.
  2. Roll out pastry to a 15 x 10-inch rectangle.
  3. Spread shrimp mixture over half the pastry.
  4. Fold in half over shrimp to a 15 x 5-inch rectangle.
  5. Cut into 15 one-inch wide strips.
  6. Hold each strip at both ends and twist to form a spiral.
  7. Place on ungreased baking pan (press ends down).
  8. Bake at 450° for about 10 minutes.
  9. Drain on paper towel.
