Oyster Dressing(Turkey Stuffing)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. onions, chopped
  • 1 c. celery
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 c. oysters, drained
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 6 c. French bread cubes

Instructions

  1. Saute sausage; remove.
  2. Add margarine.
  3. Saute onions, celery and parsley (add garlic if you like).
  4. Remove from heat; add salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce, oysters, sausage, pecans and bread and toss well.
  5. Makes 10 to 12 cups.
  6. Stuff turkey or bake in separate pan.
