Simple And Quick Apple Pudding

Ingredients

  • 6 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

Instructions

  1. Place apples in 2 litre casserole dish. Sprinkle with the cinnamon.
  2. Cream butter and sugar then add the next 6 ingredients and mix well. Spoon over apples.
  3. Mix brown sugar and flour thorougly in a bowl. Stir in butter, vanilla and water. Pour over batter and leave to sit on top. Bake uncovered in a 350 F oven for 30 minutes or until apples are baked and pudding is firm to the touch.
