Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a 10-inch skillet, heat and stir sugar until melted and golden brown.
  2. Stir in chopped pecans, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Pour immediately onto buttered foil.
  4. Roll quickly with a buttered rolling pin to about an 8 x 8-inch square.
  5. When completely cool, break into small pieces.
