Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked brown beans, drained slightly
  • flour
  • cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Put cooked brown beans in a large bowl.
  2. Stir in just enough flour to make the beans slightly thick.
  3. Pour oil into a skillet, just enough to cover the bottom.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the bean mixture into the skillet to form patties.
  5. Cook over medium heat until both sides are brown.
  6. Add more oil as necessary during cooking.
  7. Optionally, add chopped onions, green peppers, and shredded cheese for extra flavor.
