A refreshing summer slush with fruity flavors and icy texture, perfect for hot days and gatherings, combining pineapple, orange, lemon, and bananas for a tropical treat.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 can (46 oz.) pineapple juice
  • 1 can (12 oz.) frozen lemonade concentrate, undiluted
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups (12 oz.) frozen orange juice concentrate, undiluted
  • 5 bananas, mashed

Instructions

  1. Measure sugar and water into a saucepan.
  2. Heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring to a boiling point, let boil for one minute.
  4. Refrigerate until cold.
  5. Mix the chilled mixture with pineapple juice, orange juice concentrate, lemon concentrate, and mashed bananas.
  6. Pour the mixture into 5 (1-quart) containers and cover.
  7. Freeze until solid.
  8. At serving time, fill a tall glass halfway with soda of your choice.
  9. Spoon the frozen mixture into the glass to fill.
  10. Serve with a straw and a spoon.
