Small Flower Cookies

- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In the food processor bowl, add the egg, sugar, and vanilla.
- Start the processor to mix and then gradually add the flour.
- Let it mix into a smooth paste, which will happen fairly quickly.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
- Unwrap the candy and place between 2 sheets of parchment paper. Gently tap the candy with a rolling pin to break into little pieces.
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Roll out the dough, not to thin, on a floured work surface.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out the cookies. Use a small flower shaped (or other shape if you like) cookie cutter to remove the center of the cookie.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drop 1 tsp. of crushed candy into the hole in the center.
- Bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden, turn the oven off, leave the cookies in the oven for another 5 minutes.
