Ingredients

  • 24 soda crackers
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Arrange 24 soda crackers on a baking sheet.
  2. Beat egg whites until frothy.
  3. Gradually beat in 1/4 cup sugar and beat until stiff.
  4. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Spoon the meringue onto the crackers.
  6. Spread the meringue to the edge of each cracker.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 6 to 8 minutes.
  8. Do not overbake!
