Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 pint sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cream together margarine and sugar.
  2. Add slowly the egg yolks, flour, vanilla, soda, salt, and sour cream, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
  4. Fold in 6 stiffly beaten egg whites.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased Bundt pan and bake at 300°F (150°C) for 1 1/2 hours.
