Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Cut the butter into the self-rising flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Add the buttermilk to the mixture and knead lightly for about 10 seconds.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut into biscuits.
  4. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 13 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Reheat in microwave very well before serving.
