Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoon soda
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon ginger

Instructions

  1. Cream shortening, sugar, and Large eggs.
  2. Add in molasses.
  3. Sift together flour, salt, soda, cinnamon, and ginger; add in to first mix.
  4. Roll in balls and shake in bag of sugar.
  5. Place on cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 275 degrees for 15 min.
