Ingredients

  • 2 lb. meat (beef or chicken)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • cooking oil
  • 1 medium onion (red best)
  • 1/2 tsp. curry powder
  • 2 c. water
  • 4 potatoes

Instructions

  1. Fry the onion in oil until golden brown.
  2. Add the meat and cook until almost done, then add peeled potatoes.
  3. Cook until nearly ready, then add tomatoes.
  4. Add water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes or until the soup looks thick and the ingredients are cooked.
