Ingredients

  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 5 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp. warm water
  • 2/3 c. salad oil
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Sift the flour, baking soda, sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir in salad oil and buttermilk.
  2. Dissolve the dry yeast in warm water and add it to the mixture.
  3. Place the mixture in a container with a sealed lid and store in the refrigerator.
  4. When ready to bake, take a portion of the dough and roll it in flour.
  5. Bake the rolls for 15 to 20 minutes at 450°F until golden brown.
