Southern Style Corn

Instructions
- Remove silk from ears of corn.
- With sharp, paring knife, cut kernels from corn.
- Scrape cobs well to remove juice.
- Melt butter in a large frypan.
- Stir in corn and juices.
- Add water, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Cover and simmer until tender, about 15 minutes. To thicken, blend flour into milk, and add to corn.
- Bring to a boil.
- Continue cooking 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
