Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Ore-Ida Southern-style potatoes (frozen)
  • 1 stick oleo (melted)
  • 1/2 c. oleo (melted)
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. mild Cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 1 c. cream of chicken soup (undiluted)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen Ore-Ida Southern-style potatoes in a large pan.
  2. Pour the melted stick of oleo over the potatoes and mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, chopped onion, salt, pepper, grated Cheddar cheese, and undiluted cream of chicken soup; mix thoroughly.
  4. Mix this sour cream mixture with the potatoes in the pan.
  5. Pour the combined mixture into a shallow 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 35 minutes until hot and bubbly.
