Spanish Tostadas feature crispy fried corn tortillas topped with fresh tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce, offering a satisfying crunch and vibrant flavors perfect for a quick snack or light meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 package corn tortillas
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 8 oz. cheese
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1 bottle oil
  • 1 can refried beans

Instructions

  1. Place a small frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Pour 1/2 cup of oil into the frying pan.
  3. Put one corn tortilla into the hot oil.
  4. Fry the tortilla until it becomes hard, then turn it over and fry until hard.
  5. Remove the fried tortilla from the pan.
  6. Place the fried tortilla on a plate.
  7. Repeat the process to make about four tostadas.
