Ingredients

  • 6 bacon strips
  • 1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans corn
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crisp, then crumble and set aside.
  2. Drain the mushrooms.
  3. In a 10-inch Dutch oven, cook chopped onion in bacon grease for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the corn, mushrooms, and cooked bacon to the Dutch oven and heat through.
  5. Mix half of the grated cheese into the mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  7. Cover and bake for 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
