Spicy Melon Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 medium honeydew melon
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh horseradish or 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • few drops Worcestershire sauce
  • few drops Tabasco sauce
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the honeydew melon in half, remove the seeds, and scoop out the flesh with a melon-baller.
  2. Place the melon balls in a bowl.
  3. Add ketchup, grated or prepared horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice, sour cream, salt, and white pepper to the bowl.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  5. Serve the spicy melon cocktail chilled.
