- May be served as an entree or appetizer.
- In a large skillet, brown chopped onions in oil.
- Mix browned onions in a large mixing bowl with breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt and pepper.
- Divide filling into 10 to 12 servings and spread mixture onto a 1 1/2 pound of pounded round steak or veal, cut into 10 to 12 servings (1 1/2 x 2-inches).
- Then spread mixture onto your 10 to 12 pieces of meat.
- Roll each piece with mixture inside and fasten with a wooden toothpick that has been dipped in oil. Place in baking dish and bake for 20 minutes at 350°.
- Serves 6.
