Ingredients

  • fresh fish
  • cut green sticks

Instructions

  1. Make a point on one end of a cut green stick (not oleander).
  2. For each fish, choose a stick about 4 inches longer than the fish.
  3. Tie the fish to the stick at both the head and gills with the head toward the pointed end.
  4. Push the stick into the ground next to the coals with the head touching the ground.
  5. Grill the fish for 10 minutes.
